In years 8 and 9 the students follow the national curriculum for Science. This is supplemented by the
use of the Spectrum Science series of textbooks.

Students starting in year 7 from September 2008 will follow the new Key Stage 3 Science curriculum over
2 years. This will allow them to begin their GCSE course in year 9.
